I guess the blog got neglected early this year due to the winter storm that came at the end of October. We were slammed with snow and lost power for a way to extended period of time. All of that took a hit on my outdoor studio that was just starting to come into perfect fall color and light.... so we are now just getting back to blogging and I'll do an attempt at catch-up when I find some time.

Little man "A" was as cute as can be. We had to work for each and every smile... at 1 he was quick on his feet and very curious about everything. His interpretation of cake smash was rather unusual... a first for me actually... he didn't eat the cake he was more interested in painting with it, throwing it, than laying in it. Better than all of this was eating the cardboard the cake was on...

Baby "L" came for photos today with her big brother "A." "A" was my first newborn (although he was 6 weeks old at the time) and now he's 2!!! I was thrilled when "E" told me they were expecting and I made sure to remind her that newborns are best photographed between 4-10 days old... we laughed at this because we tried so hard to get "A" into newborn poses but he was sooo big from the start. We also photographed the "G" family today. This was the first time I'd me the "G" family but we clicked immediately. By the end of the session little "R" was done with photos but didn't want to leave. He just wanted to play in my leaves. I would have gladly filled his car with leaves if his parents would let me.
