Where have I been?

People have asked why I haven't been updating my blog... well truth be told I've been so insanely busy with photos and holiday sessions, I just haven't had the time.  I hate to spoil a surprise with posting a blog picture so at times it's just easier not to do teasers at all. 

This one was super cute and I'm certain not going to be on the card (because we have tons of other cute pictures...

The "D" family will soon be adding one!!!!

I enjoyed my session with the "D" family today.  VERY soon their family of three will be a family of four.  I've been busy busy busy with holiday sessions and don't typically post those to my blog or facebook so it was a pleasure to throw them into the mix today and have something to share.

It's clear how loved little "E" is and how much they are all looking forward to new baby! 

 Not to worry mom had a maternity session too but it's more fun to see big brother!!!!

"Hey "E" what's babies name going to be?"    ....  "Maybe Elmo!"

FUN Fall Festival with Kent Greenhouse and Garden Center

We had overwhelming participation today and FUN FUN FUN!!!!!! Thank you all so much and soooo great to see so many familiar and new faces today!!!!  Here are just a few of the fun faces we captured today.  I am working to put up galleries and will be sure to email you when your gallery is complete!

ALSO, new to the Kent Greenhouse and Garden Center are some fun glittery flying friends.  These are sure to "fly" out the door!!!! New gifts and decorations are coming into the shop each day, be sure to stop in and check out what's coming in!

A happy Day...

The "L" family welcomed in a new member....

So we made use of this GORGEOUS weather to do a family session....sadly more rain in the forecast so enjoy the weather while you can!!!  What a strange spring, let's hope that we have some days of sun this week.

Gender Reveal Session -- Litchfield County Maternity Photographer

I finally was able to photograph a gender reveal maternity photo shoot! When a past client told me she was expecting again and then we all found out she was having twins we cooked up this idea.... a session called gender reveal MINI!!!!! Make it known to others, or find out yourself, the gender of your baby through pictures. 

These were so much fun and I look forward to do something like this again!!!

What better way to kick off this fun new package then with TWINS!!!!!

Will it be PINK x2 or BLUE x2?????  or 1 Blue and 1 Pink????

So now I'll let "K" share her secret.......

The "W" girls...

 and it's always nice to capture Mom and Dad... it's not often that we turn the camera on ourselves.  Don't forget to always include yourselves as a couple in your sessions! Those pictures will become some of the most cherished pictures for your kids to look at.

Little "B" and in this case the "B" could also stand for "blessing!"

I can easily tell that the "S" family has soooo much love for little "B" and cherishes EVERY second! Meeting families like this reminds me how much I love doing what I do! Thank you for a very enjoyable morning getting to know you!

little "N" never disappoints.... haha....

It's not normal for the mom to send Dad to photo session but it couldn't be avoided this time... so mom is seeing these teasers for the first time along side my fans... "GM" the suspense must be UNBEARABLE!!!! ... ENJOY!!!! Can't wait for the big reveal when you get your complete gallery.

What better way to get back into blogging then with a PARTY!!!

We've been incredibly busy here with photos and tons of spring sessions making great use of the unseasonably beautiful weather and yet the blog has been silent. YOU CAUGHT ME... I've been guilty of blog neglect!!! I need to get back into the habit of posting teasers I'm going to try really hard to find time in the next couple days to do a blog revamp... here's hoping I'm successful .... I DO know that this mama and her friends are super duper excited to see a teaser or two so hopefully this will have to do for tonight until I can get a proper revamp put together.


and what better fun then a cake smash x2 PARTY!!!


These boys discovered that cake tastes better when grabbed with the toes first THEN eaten!
